Everyone getting a bit ahead of themselves.
Let's get to January and see how things are.
Then, let's see who leaves.
Then, let's see what resources OK is given.
Then, let's see who he brings in.
Then, let's see how the rest of the season pans out.
Then... Finally let's judge OK and start a debate on whether he should manage us next season in whatever tier we are playing in.

Gordon Scott in the press saying there will be a bigger change this January than last January that less players in this time going for quality.

So he’s using the wrong tactics for the players he has then?

Livi seem to be getting their tactics spot on despite having a squad full of players who were in League One a year and a half ago.

We could play the worlds best formation and still lose

For Livi they have players like Halkett who could easily walk into the first 11 of some top teams

They didn't lose the guy who got them promoted though.

Three games left this year for Oran, will he get us three points out of them? That could be enough to pass Dundee.

We'll go above Dundee tomorrow night if Aberdeen can win by 2 clear goals against them.

It’ll all be fine once Mack & Eck are fully fit and McShane is restored to central midfield.

4 told to leave! emoji1.png

Not to mention the meltdown over Cammy Smith!

It might not be fine but would still be better than this year's signings who replaced them. People also pointed out there was a risk that Stubbs could be stuck with 6 or 7 players he had told he didn't want if he couldn't shift them and we'd have a big group of unhappy players before a ball was kicked. Then look at who was signed to improve the squad and replace Eckersley, MacKenzie, McShane and Smith... Hayden 'Adam Who?' Coulson; Cole Kpekawa and Josh Heaton and maybe Alfie Jones as well; Cody Cooke.

Hardly a resounding endorsement of Stubbs telling around half the squad he inherited they were free to leave!

Interesting interview in the BBC. Can finally speak his mind?

St Mirren manager Oran Kearney: The manner of it was the hardest thing to take. It's not acceptable, not good enough, and that's the big problem.

"When I took this job I did believe we could keep ourselves in the mix with this group of players and be alive in January. The first part of the mission has been accomplished and that fills me full of optimism. It's going to be busy [the January transfer window]."
