That might be slightly closer to the truth. I have nothing against Stubbs, but the only person who sabotaged his chances of being a success was himself. Yes players were told they could leave but the players brought in to replace them were of sub standard. Seems to me that he has taken AS side and written an article without any facts. As for the players challenging AS, I don't have an issue with that as long as AS proved them wrong but he didn't and as a result he lost his job.
