Saint Mirren V Hibernian 29.9.18

HT 0-1

Fair reflection really. If anything we deserve to be further behind. Hibs missed a right sitter on half time there. Free header 6 yards out straight at Sammy.

Hibs simply been far better than us all over the park. Nice to see wee Stevie Mallan back on the Paisley turf. Seen his corners headed into that south stand net plenty of times over the years, never against us though, till today :(

We generally look a disorganised and poorly motivated shambles. Jackson running around and trying fine but doesn’t look like he’s any good. Ferdinand said he was a few weeks away from the pace during the week? Few months maybe. Captain S McGinn doing his usual wet blanket ghost show in midfield.

Only 0-1 so still in it I guess.

The guy talks some power of pish on here every week. From the opening 15 minutes he declared the problem "Hibs have the better manager" - bizzare. McGinn getting it in the neck again from him, it seems unless there is a classic Zidane like performance from McGinn then he is a "wet blanket". McGinn has been decent today, as he is most weeks. That said, there are problems in most other areas of the pitch - the defending at the goal, and a couple other points, just not acceptable.

Are you here?

If so, what positives do you take from that 45 minutes?

If not, I hope your delusion is comforting.

McGinn should have scored. A better cross from Jackson and Edwards would have had an easy header in. Better shape than last week and the goal we lost was soft.

Agree McGinn had a great chance, but Hibs chance at the end was better.

If we’re going to go down the ‘if that cross was better it would have been a goal’ route... surely that applies to every cross? [emoji28]

You asked for positives Bud. We look like we can create chances and at 1-0 down we are still in this.
