No he's just pish and not part of the plans.

He fought his way back into plans and was on the bench vs Aberdeen at Pittodrie after his injury, he then disappeared and popped up for the reserves and by all accounts played well, he has since vanished again - seems like he was never fit at any stage earlier this season and never really managed to get himself fit.

These are the questions our media team or Saints supporting journalists should be asking rather than the same old easy questions.

Playing well for the reserves is miles away from first team ready usually speaking. OK confirmed (or as close as you could tell) that he isn't in the plans at his Q&A. The way he put it was 'playing on the AstroTurf pitch'

We've been sold a dummy with this guy for sure.

Talk MacKenzie was back in training - so think he is building up his fitness.

The other 2 a while to go yet I believe.

Shame as Magennis was really just getting back into stride.

Would be good to have him back for a prolonged period, feel over the last few years he has been pretty unlucky to have a lot of injury problems.

Am sure Mackenzie said it would be towards the end of the month before he was back in full training and I'd imagine he'd need a few weeks and some reserve action before he was in contention for first team

Was talking to big Gaz on Sat and he said he's now training with the 1st team squad.

Really glad to hear that. As other posters have said, we have a lot of games to fit in before the end of February.

Any training ground updates on Cooke, Kellerman and Hodson?

(I think Kellerman will be out for a while - was it his Hamstring?)

Cooke took a knock to his head, so should be fine for Sunday.

Will we be able to field a team against Hibs? - yes of course.

They are not sparkling right now - we need to keep it tight and take 3 points - it will be a huge moral boost and lift us back off the bottom. It will be good letting Dee and Hamilton know that they are in a serious scrap and we are really fired up for it.    C O Y S   :spud6

I think the PDE today was saying Hodson might be out for a few months

OUCH.  I know he is not everyone's favourite, but he has contributed a lot so far in a poor side OK inherited. .

A sore blow indeed... agree with JM1 if we can send him back injured we should and get in another who is fit and ready to contribute ASAP.  :spud7
