Yet we made more chances under Stubbs and against better sides.  It’s that bad the bus back no one is even upset just all resigned to our fate.  Oh and if rumours today before the game are to be believed s McGinn needs a knee op and we have zero money to spend in January

You certainly are a hammer

We were dead at buried at half time in most games under Stubbs is also his squad he assembled.

Some utter wanks in our support trying to blame OK so early not a surprise though.

Some people clearly have an agenda against the manager

He has inherited a squad which is weaker than last season who weren't good enough for this league anyway

The blame lies at the feet of the BOD who appointed a chancer who told more lies than Walter Mitty at his interview

They better back their new man in Jan

They caused this mess

It's not looking great right now but it's only 3 points we lost like any other game. As others have stated the Motherwell game is a huge one at this stage of the season if we can win that and be around the bottom 4 teams come January then hopefully we can get a few players in and out to improve the squad.

Yep Stubbs wasn't completely to blame for the whole squad but he destroyed team morale and any lingering feelgood factor from the title win. We have to back OK, i think he'll prove to be a good manager but the fans will need patience.

Bullshit regarding the zero money.

Stop talking shite

We were really poor today, apart from a 15 minute spell in the first half when we had a good go at them. It was during that spell that we should’ve been given a stonewall penalty and it could’ve been a completely different game. We can’t use that as an excuse though. Our decision making let us down when we were on top; passing when we should shoot and vice versa. Willock needs to learn to pull the trigger. We were dominated all over the park. We have no sharpness, pace or dig. Without Samson’s heroics it could have been 5 or 6. Their second goal was a joke. You could see them sending their big lad up to the back post and McGinn going over to pick him up. When the big lad expectedly won the header there were 3 queuing up to tap it in. Too easy.
That said, I think Pep would struggle with this squad of players. We are becoming the whipping boys of this league. Dark times. Even with it being early in the season Wednesday is huge. We will need to toughen up and compete with a big physical Motherwell team.

Long way to go. We will be preparing for big changes in January. Got to get some results in the upcoming home games to make sure we are still in the pack come January.

I think the reality of January will be that our skillful players Anton, Hammill, Jackson, Magennis will be off, rather than drop to the championship.

Patience from the "fans" who post on here? You must be joking!

On the positive side. Sitting in a social club with a few buds and a lot of fakes exchanging banter and a few beers. Win or lose football is not just about the results. It's bigger than that.

Must all be alkies then going by posts earlier in the week :P

I really hope McGinn has a knee injury. Otherwise, the decline in his abilities would be unprecedented.

He’s been f**king woeful.

We were bullied all over the park , could have been six , ñever had a shot on target , , ñever put together an attacking move , never threatened their goal , never turned up .

Great away support that deserved better

In how many games in the Championship did we dominate possession - not many would be my guess.

The trend continues in SPFL with Ross' runt, Stubbs' starlets and Kearney's crew.

OK has inherited a disaster of a squad and not all of the blame should fall on AS. JR should be accountable for the car crash of a squad we had been left with before AS arrived.

However, we cannot kid ourselves, the signs were there when we were "running away" with the Championship.

St Johnstone deserved to win by more. We were poor. Three players turned up. Samson,  Jackson  and Baird

AYE and Samson and Bairdy are the 2 that get the most abuse on here...

Hard to see us beating Well... but I believe in miracles...

I will predict now that we will be around the bottom 4 come January.  Probably still in 2nd last place.  Big changes are needed then to prepare for the fight ahead to stay in, at least,  second last place and ensure a play off place at worst.

Can see Stubbs being the whipping boy getting the blame for everything for the foreseeable future.

GLS must have thought this football game was easy after winning championship  and took his eye off the ball.

Things look as bad now as they did in the Craig/Murray era.

Lazy appointments do that at this club

Do your homework to be caught out again is a joke

We have to back Kearney. The difference between him and Stubbs is that apart from the naff signings he quite clearly lost the dressing room, how that happened...who knows.  OK is clearly  better in the man management and communication department. We need to allow the guy to build a team and hopefully see some improvement.

That's a cert! however we must see improvement once the he's allowed to buy his own players in.

We really are a f**king Omni-shambles but you can’t blame Kearney just yet.

The players he’s brought in are better than we had but he’s still lumbered with some of the shite Stubbs signed and fan favourites from a Championship winning side that simply aren’t good enough at this level.

It’s going to be a shitfest all year with dwindling crowds and us clinging to the hope we can finish second bottom. That really is our best bet.

A part of me actually hopes that Stephen McGinn is carrying an injury as I love that boy but he’s been rank rotten this year and can’t be kept in the side unless there’s a dramatic improvement.

Jeezus.
