What else does the fourth official do? Apart from stand between the opposing managers he could quite easily sit with a monitor in front of him and assist the ref no problem.Anybody could signal any subs and hold a board up.Time for football to wake up they have had timekeepers and goal line judges in use from the beginning.

Even if it proved the ball hadn't crossed  the line and ultimately saved us from relegation and the financial hit that would bring?

As you'll have seen, people still moan about decisions with VAR, but it should mean less of the costly mistakes during games.

Pretty much the point I made on the VAR thread.

Imagine how costly a human error could be to a club in the league or a cup.
