This movie is being shown in some cinemas before it's shown on Netflix.   Anyone know where it's being screened can't find anything online.

Showing in cinemas November 9th.

Seen the trailers, , looks pretty good, in a Braveheart type way.

Some people will shred it as not being true to history but it's a movie, entertainment.

Bruce was a bit of a rogue but a successful one who played two ends against the middle before finally redeeming himself by declaring openly for being King and then leading the Scots to the victory at Bannockburn.  We visit the site often.  Looking forward to the film.

We pop up to Tarbet in a boat often for a day out and a bit to eat. Only recently found out the castle on the hill was Robert the Bruce pad.

Really, and you being partial to a wee bit of the free stuff. emoji14.png

They could have changed it to "Who would like some FREE stuff" and I'd have been all over it. :P

Let me set the scene..................

Bobby the Bruce has called all the clan leaders over for a meal and a few drinks.

When everyone's a tad drunk he decides to make his play to get them all to join him in some disagreement with some punter from down south.

"If you all join me you'll all get some FREE stuff"......................a resounding "Ok Bobby, we're in"...............

The rest is history.

Hope you enjoy the movie , it looks like it will be a little more historically accurate than Braveheart . .

Some people should stick to documentaries. :byebye

Wouldn't know enjoyment unless it booted him in the baws.

The previous film mentioned in an earlier thread is thought to be more accurate.

Whatever... More good news for the Scottish Tourist Industry.
