So it’s the manager that is wrong when he says there is no issue there?

I would not argue that mate I would agree with you.  Whoops forgive me. Where has Oran said there is no injury Issue with S. McGinn as I have not heard that in papers, buddie vision?

It's in the interviews thread Ian , I posted it , it's one of the St Mirren supporting journalists who interviewed Oran this week . Oran said there are no  injury issues with McGinn other than "the normal aches and pains of a footballer of his age" !

Billy aches can be serious is McGinn playing it down ? Who knows we know Saints are first and foremost with McGinn personally I would / send him to a specialist for assessment then I would take that seriously.  McGinn is the special one I want to see everything is  covered. Just my opinion Billy.

FFS, you believe "rumours", you don't believe the manager and you, in your lofty position as a cook, would send him to a specialist?

Comedy gold.

Pointless picking on one player as being poor when the whole squad collectively has been utter shite.

He needs the right players in there with him. Willock is a must pick for me, purely down to the fact that he’s our only physical midfield player. How he was dropped for Flynn last night is beyond me.

Magennis is getting welcomed back with open arms.

I think it's more the fact that McGinn appears bulletproof to some. Every player should fear for their place when on a run such as the one we're on. Be interesting to see the lineup for tomorrow. With no Hodson to call on we're light in the full back area, which would suggest a back three again, with McGinn at RWB and possibly Edwards on the left. I'd have Mullen and Jackson up front, and draw names out of a hat for the three midfield berths...

Even when our manager goes on record and says McGinn has no issue some of our fans still insist he’s injured.

Brilliant [emoji16]

As for who could do better in his position, I’d play McShane. I’m not sure he’d do any more, I am sure he wouldn’t do any less.

Your quote................."It’s been confirmed by many reliable sources he’s carrying a knock. Why choose not to believe it?"

Let me expand on that, you're a clown, better?

A number of people that are regularly well informed on these subjects have said it. He's chosen not to believe it.

Went back to listen to the tape again. OK referred to Stephen's "aches and pains" as a player in his late 20s and the knee surgery he had at Watford. But he adds: "At this point in time there's no issue there".

McGinn not injured according to OK !

It's well documented your inability to read or comprehend but I've tried to make it easy for you above.

Let me repeat, you're a clown.

What have I been incapable of comprehending regarding him clearly saying he doesn't believe the stories? I think you're clearly showing who's the clown in this conversation...

It's been posted above, via twitter. The journalist Graeme McPherson commenting on press conference where Kearney was asked about McGinn - it's all in many of the posts above this one.

So the same unofficial means as the injury rumours?

Back to my original point, why choose not to believe something hasn't got substance and flatly reject this sort of stuff?

Straight from the manager's mouth. How official do you want it to be?

I just asked where it came from and where's the interview and you said it's been posted over twitter

So is there an interview?

FFS - why can't you just admit you got it wrong. Happens to us all sometimes. Nobody is going to spoon feed you everything - all the information you need has already been posted.

I've went on twitter and seen nothing at all saying the injury news is fake. One of the most recent comments is from Gilmour saying if he is injured we shouldn't delay.

My point was never about him being injured or not, it was about you refusing to acknowledge there could be truth in so many sources saying he was. Why is that?

Injury/ no injury Stephen is a good player who has suffered a loss of form, like that's never happened before... He's also surrounded by other players who are not performing well that all adds up to what we're watching now. Some will go or be dropped in January and i have no fear that Stephen's form will return.

Club Captain's get dropped by other clubs - take Henderson at Liverpool or Deany at Watford, it happens and there shouldn't be any issue about dropping or resting Stephen if there is no serious injury other than niggles.

Hell's teeth he has been my so called "Top Man" for almost the entire period since he arrived back at the club, so he has my support, but I do accept he hasn't been performing as well as he can, but that too can be because he is the club captain and feels responsibility for the position we are in, plus there is low confidence around the team.

Finding who can fit into his role isn't impossible, but whether they would perform better than an off-form SMcG is another matter and only one the Manager and his assistants can assess.
