beyond our ken
The problems that remain are overall physical strength, size and our very poor goalscoring options jackson and Mullen are good players But not together and not without a decent sized attacker to dish it out to the other side the midfield definitely looked better on Saturday as did the defence
Isle Of Bute Saint
Read a post on social media pointing out Alan Stubbs Q & A night. Stubbs was told about players who came through our youth system. It was asked do you see any more youth players ready to make the step up. Stubbs replayed none are ready yet. Hope you watched Saturday's game Mr Stubbs. Well done Oran who gives youth a chance.
Kemp
Quite a lot of posters on here just simply don't have the backbone for supporting St Mirren. Time for some of you to just get it over with and buy a season ticket for Parkhead. We have been promoted, and yes, we are struggling. Get over it and back the team like we did back in 2001. Struggled all season but the fans gave the team tremendous backing and we almost pulled off a miracle in the end. Stephen McGinn, isn't actually better than Zidane - the song wasn't meant to be taken seriously. He is a tremendous player for St Mirren's level though, has been a great servant over the years man and boy. If you can't back a player like that, then f**k off to Parkhead where you can watch the players a bigger budget gets you. People chucking it because of a poor run? Whining about the management of the club and wanting Gordon Scott out? Give it a f**king rest. Yes, it would be nice to be in the position of St Johnstone or Kilmarnock.....but we could also very easily be in the position of Falkirk, Morton, Airdrie, Dundee United or Partick Thistle! Football is a competitive business....things are cyclical. Sometimes you are up, sometimes down. Unless you support Falkirk in which case it is constantly down. We are having a shite season, you don't stop supporting your club!
