Déjà vu

Replace the names and this is pretty much what we were saying and feeling in 2016 around this time

We had 4 points after 14 games and we didn’t even have a Dundee as such, then it all changed after window, but we had managed a few wins in December to get some momentum.

We had a manager ( AR), who had not been a popular choice bringing in duds, we had an early sacking , and a new young faced manager brought in

From Day Dot- Jack said we will be Premiership, he spoke about himself, he focused, got shot of deadwood and brought in some good players but more importantly got the existing squad better. We had the distraction of the cup games where we beat inferior teams, that created some momentum, we don’t have that luxury this season

Even after Jacks poor start there was some improvements, but I remember Gordon on radio saying "he might" stick with Jack if we got relegated to third tier

Jack was also an ex player, knew the club, some of the players and the BOD, the rest is history , Jack also talked about learning, being responsible and getting the club where it needed to be, every week

Now its only Nov 1st but Oran faces almost the identical situation in points, however its not QOS or Morton, its Celtic , Rangers , Hearts and Hibs coming up.

Every team has ripped us apart , 1st Halves Celtic and Killie and maybe second half Hibs are pass points. The rest we are miles off the pace

This is a MASSIVE task- This is a job for Sam Allerdyce, Tony Pulis not a Coleraine Local Hero.  Oran's family is also across the Irish sea, he must bloody hate Paisley

What Oran has inherited, the behind the scenes turmoil, the constant pressure, the expectation from a first win, bloody hell, he must wonder what the hell he is doing. He doesn’t strike me as doing this for the money.

Love to know what makes our BOD think Oran is the guy to turn a situation that is totally of our making. Jack was always going to go, especially after all the focus last year that our own club created, manager of the year, and now at a BIG club

We hardly go under the radar to we?. Maybe we should consider that for a while.................

Its going to take an even bigger miracle this time around.  10th is the only target, and despite how crap we are, we are somehow still in touch

Not sure what your point is. Heavy comparisons to 2016, and an acknowledgement that by this point things hadn't started to turn back then, followed by another dig at Oran saying he's not the man to turn us around? Many in our support thought the same of JR in 2016.

Three Scottish clubs - ourselves, Dundee and Falkirk - have had the same misfortune, useless manager signing duds on the recommendations of dodgy agents or scouts. New managers all in, no new manager bounce for anyone, because the squads at each club aren't good enough. OK so far has got most things right but some things wrong, but he needs a transfer window to try and sort it out.
