Imagine publicly bollocking Thommo when you've never played the game yourself. Same with Alex Miller. Old school nonsense - all running and almost no ball work. How do these dinosaurs get paid work? It was good to hear Agnew confirm what several posters on here were speculating about when Spalding got the gig ie players unsure of him as he didn't have a playing background/Unpopular figure.. Was surprised about the Alex Miller comments though, I thought someone who has coached at the likes of Liverpool & AIK in recent times would have plenty of modern day methods for training.
