Looking at predictions earlier - the knicker wetters gave us no chance ...

Nor the bookies , or anyone else for that matter , apart from those fans hoping for any crumbs of comfort.  Terrific result. Let's hope there isn't another Accies nightmare,  like there was after the last false dawn. One game at a time till Jan 1

Pretty much what we should have gone for given the injury to Ferdinand.
Apart from McShane instead of Willock. I don't understand what McShane is adding to the side at all.

4 told to leave! [emoji1]

Got to laugh at the baying mob who forced Stubbs out cos he ‘broke up the championship winning side’ turning on a guy who played an integral part in winning us the league!

Superb today.

Jones and Baird both outstanding along with Hammill.  What a hit for that first Goal.

Easy enough first game for Danny Rogers and getting a clean sheet will be a great confidence boost for him.

Got to fancy our chances next week at home to accies as well.

Injuries are catching up with Heart of Midlothian and they are on a downward spiral and seem fecked.

We can overtake them as the Season progresses.

St Mirren 2 Hearts 0

Genius

... or just like a broken watch? [emoji3]

Well deserved and a great team performance.
Thought we might rue those missed opportunities in 1st half. Didn't take long into 2nd half to prove me wrong [emoji3]
Thought Paul McGinn had a great game and would've been my MotM, obviously the 2 great strikes meant its Hamill's though.

Firstly...
Sorry Saints.
Sorry Oran.

When I saw the team lineup I bet on Hearts to win by more than two!

Oh me of little faith!

At half time, I had a dig at McShane and McGinn, or MoanGinn as I had christened him.

Happy to apologise to both players who gave their all in that second half and were pivotal in our won.

Alfie Jones... Take a bow young man. That was a HUGE performance.

Adam Hamill... Just wow! Just wow! I regretted not betting on you to score, so after the screamer, stuck a fiver on a second at 11/1. [emoji41]

Hodson at right back with P McGinn in front of him was a gamble in my eyes... But turned out to be a stroke of genius by Oran.

The workrate of the team was phenomenal.

The fitness much imporoved. Go Junior!

That was a season turning performance right there!

Happy Buddie.

I am actually grateful for Stubbs time at the club!

Had Oran followed Jack, there would have been unfavorable comparisons.

Stubbs showed us the dangers, and taught me to be grateful!

He also gave Oran a challenge which he is rising to superbly in my eyes.

OK... Best manager of Saints since Jack Ross!

Jack Ross.. best manager at Saints since SAF!
