I think this is a first. You have quoted an article which encourages the use of more pharmaceutical drugs.

Firstly, one of the doctors recommends adding PPI's when taking aspirin in order to drastically reduce bleeding.

Secondly it recommends aspirin as a way of lowering the risk of cancer.

Surprised at you posting this to be honest.

Not sure why you've entitled the thread Health Con. either.

Lucky white F'n heather. I've been told I'll need to take the damn stuff for the rest of my life after my wee heart episode!:P

Might be worth asking your doctor about also taking PPIs with the aspirin to reduce the chance of a bleed as per the article.

I have been taking an  Aspirin every day since 2010.

I've learn't never to take it before a shave as the slightest nick tends to bleed for hours.

Never shave in the morning for that reason or I would never get to work.

Oh dear.  Your limitations and personal hang ups become more apparent with every post.  Keep it up.. The bottom can't be far away  for Faraway.

After snlt's sneaky change of the linked article without telling anyone, F man will have to dig very deep to reach the same level.

For years we were told one aspirin a day would stop blood clots a big noise was made of it. Scary stuff.

So you have nothing to say about the Guardian article which has direct quotes from actual medical people but you believe by default what you read from the crank website.

The Gruniad article seems to infer that the problem lies with healthy people taking asprin as a "future preventative".  It's not clear what dosage they are taking but does it mean the standard 300mg asprin that is available over the counter?  Those of us who are less healthy are prescribed asprin in a 75mg dose.  I haven't checked the natural news wbsite because when I clicked on the link I got a warning saying SCAM.  What to believe?  :spud5

You're ok, Dr Snake has found another miracle cure on the internet.

Tell your own doctor you don't need him/her anymore, you're cured.

You'll love this. The author of that quack article has written 700 others.

The real gem is this one:-

Disgusting liberals manipulate “gay” penguins to push anti-science LGBT agenda

This is the person Snakey wants St Lucifer to take medical advice from.
