Aberdeen got the wind behind them second half and pinned us back and their winning goal was coming, another poorly defended set piece from us. We rallied a bit at the end but never created anything.1 win in 17, bottom of the league and the 3 teams above us have a game in hand. We don’t have anyone of substance at the back, in midfield or in the dugout. The only good attacking player we have is Adam Hammil (another assist today). Cosgrove 6ft 6 every time was touch he was rolling round as if he was polaxed by loggers and the idiot ref fell for it every time. Pass marks for young Cammy MacPherson and great to see Breadner come on. But God knows how Edwards plays the full 90mins I'm sorry he's woeful. End of December can't come quick enough and Edwards is one of the 1st I would send back. Very telling that only Lyness, McGinn and Smith came over to at least thank the fans for braving the dross they served up. How do Edwards and Simeon Jackson play 90 minutes every week? Plus sides; Lyness made some very good saves, little shaky at some points but thrown in at the deep end and recovered. MacPherson and McGinn showed some good dig and are the only players who offer something other than square 5 yard or backwards passes. Hammill with another assist but ultimately a frustrating afternoon for him, hopefully not injured. Let’s pray he stays in January purely for his set pieces and moments of magic.
