Mid Calder Saint
Stu; Yes Jordan played in the League Cup against Killie and played well until he fell awkwardly on that awful surface and was sidelined for a few months. He is a decent player and will do well at Alloa. On the subject of Jon who is a personal friend of mine he is doing well at Alloa and played against Utd on Saturday and apparently played well. All Jon wanted was a chance at full time in the end Danny treated him badly and accused him of feigning injury during the warmup of a Premier match at home against Killie. The following week he was paid off the remainder of his contract and sent on loan to Cowdenbeath.Jon is now doing well playing part time and working in the Fire Service. John Gotti
Would be surprised if that's true regarding Heaton.Makes sense IF we can get someone to cover his wages on loan though, 3 years is a long contract to buy out so our best option is hoping he finds form and we can sell him on or at the very least at no cost.Especially if it’s true we have only paid the first 25k of his transfer fee. Kemp
Kearney has told him to leave, Heaton has posted his stupid "moving on" memes on Instagram, going to be awkward if he is back up the road in a few months! Wouldn't be a massive surprise if nobody is willing to take him on a 2 year deal though, what with him being a useless lump of wood.

Not disputing this but does anyone really know for sure? The fact two managers didn’t fancy him is damning but can’t imagine too many fans have actually seen him in the flesh. Although sadly that doesn't seem to be a barrier to being a professional footballer in Scotland. Darlington fans loved him so he must have some strong defensive qualities. As i mentioned elsewhere smfc will be paying part of his wages to go out on loan. And we will still have the problem come May. Whoever signed off on his transfer fee needs to walk! He must have been good at that level because the Darlington fans would happily have him back, although they don’t see it as realistic due to his wage now. From our point of view, if we do loan him out, it has to be to a club higher up to see if we can nab some sort of fee for him if he’s any decent. Loaning him back to that level is unlikely to benefit us from a selling point of view. This signing really does sum up Stubbs’ time in Paisley. Think we need to be realistic about where he might go. However, maybe an opportunity for him to change his attitude and even maybe prove what others saw in him

With him available now, one of those clubs may reckon they can get the best out of him. We can but hope!
FTOF
Looks like Kellerman is on his way back. Quote A shortage of bodies has prompted Fylde boss Dave Challinor to recall the 27-year-old early. Fellow winger Danny Williams and Jim Kellermann both end their loan spells at Mill Farm after tomorrow's home game, while Lewis Montrose and James Hardy are injured. Challinor said: “We are short on numbers and needed to have Ash with us. The loan has done what we’d all hoped. JM1
Kellerman deserves to the end of January to try and prove himself I reckon. He'll get another club at AFC Fylde level if by the end of the month if he's not good enough for us. Magic Monkey
If Heaton is, for some reason, rated by clubs down south, then a loan to someone at fifth or sixth tier level would not be completely out the question. Now, imagine he performs well... We still have him on a long deal. It's not inconceivable that we could recoup our transfer fee outlay. I approve of the strategy of loaning him out. It might yet work out for us.
