Some right odd things going on in this Transfer window and I hope that they will do us no harm.

Like :-

Stewart going back to Birmingham from Killie - (Are we in for him ha ha - as long as it is not Dee)

Wylde getting another football contract (what are Livi thinking? And they have lost Hardie)

Hamilton scraping above the last 2 in the league, but having no money to do much about it.

Most odd of all -we are getting rid of the under performers and signing decent players...

Aberdeen reported to be interested in Stewart.

Dee sign winger from Scunthorpe - their 4th signing

Same No as us so far - but we have offloaded a lot more from the wage bill than anyone.

How do our signings compare to Dee's ?

Hladky     v      Dieng

Popesu  v      Davies (with or without  his broken foot)

Lyons      v      Curran

Tansey    v      Dales   (this is not a real comparison positionally - but once we get out winger....)

So far I think we are doing much better business in this window... I put this at 4   v 0

Hamilton just signed Steve Davis   (I hope its the snooker player     and Well still stuck on 2

31 year old F released by Blackpool

Not sure Jack would have had any say in it.

The player was playing at Darlington on loan.

He might be a star but we've seen how rarely that works out.

For them to be paying a fee though. That sounds a lot like desperation.

He's been playing in the 6th tier of English football.

Not surprised Dundee have went down this route look how successful its been for StMirren.

I think they have probably just failed to go through the process of learning this lesson.

Maybe it's inexperience on McIntrye's part.

I reckon the problem isn't the lack of quality with these guys. It's an attitude thing. They are playing cofortably within themselves at that level. They think they are going to come up here and scoosh the league. When they inevitably struggle they lack the experience to know how to overcome their difficulties. Heaton was a classic example of that.

Aye scoring for crap teams... I would have been more worried if Dee had signed Scott Allan on loan....

Really don't think he will shine in the Premiership and I do hope he does not...

Scott Allan signs a pre contract with Hibs.

If he moves in January then Hibs will bring an exciting looking team to Paisley in late January. Gauld was, for me, one of the outstanding young talents in Scotland. Add Allan and Stevie Mallan. That looks good

Having said that,  I hope they have a rotten game against us.

I saw him play when he was at Falkirk and agree he is not rubbish - I am hoping that he is not so good in the Premiership - it is a clear step up.

He has also have some foot injuries, so I wouldn't grudge Dee signing 2 or more who end up in the treatment room along with Andrew Davies.

We have had our share of injuries surely . . .aarggghhh!
