WTF has that got to with anything? It would seem quite clear, to those of us without an agenda, that the loan deal had been agreed, and had all but been announced as a done deal by a club official. The player/agent had then increased financial demands, which were too rich for us. For this to happen in such circumstances, with such a popular player, the club obviously felt the need to clarify matters to the fans. There has been roaring and greeting about the club not being transparent. It seems that they can't win. It's a classic case of Occam's razor IMO. Bud the Baker Posted July 5, 2019 Report Share Posted July 5, 2019 (edited) There's nothing remotely unique about this deal and the way it's being reported, in fact I'd say it's fairly common for 2019 with Saints, Dynamo, Popescu, his agents, that's 4 parties involved - thankfully not 5 tho' as we don't use agents. Who amongst us can possibly tell how much of the truth any of the parties is telling (except for Baz ). Maybe, to quote Steven McGinn, it's all down to language problems!
