Welcome Vaclav Hladky

Recommended Posts

Prague buddy has seen more of him over a longer time and rates him as decent. Sometimes a change of club energises a player. Other times, not. Hladky has, during his time with Saints, been an outstanding keeper. His performances match those of Foster at Celtic and Mcgregor at Rangers and they both play behind a stronger defence. Go well Vladkav

Sorry to see Vaclav go. He's been a fantastic servant to the club. The video farewell shows he has appreciated the club as much as the club has appreciated him. A class guy!

According to the Herald article he has other clubs chasing him apart from Rangers, so he doesn't need to take their money. Hope he gets a better move. He was a great find for us, just a pity we don't get any money for him.

And Hladky was not a servant.

He was a very well paid employee of St Mirren Football Club.

He was a decent goalkeeper.

Imagine just not being able to take a shred of enjoyment, pride, sorrow, or any other emotion from a football club you supported for decades other than complete rage at their continued existence. lol

I think Shull must have been pumped by a goalkeeper when he was young, now has a dislike for all goalies [emoji87]

Not surprised he’s not got a contract yet.

One of those that our fans thought he was much better than he actually was.

Best keeper in Scotland? Spare me.

Will end up in a second choice gig at some Eastern European or English lower league club.
