A union of states with central control , say in Brussells but with real control coming from more likely , Berlin , has been the idea since the begining. Ed Heath when he signed us up to the EEc apparently knew that . The Union has been insideously creeping up on us for the last 40 odd years . They reckoned , probably correctly , that the British would never agree outright to that kind of union , so instead it just creeps up on you quietly until , one day it is simply too late to do fuck all about it. .

Paranoia creeps up on you too..........

You do recall the saying that Yes maybe I do have paranoia; but it doesn't mean that they aren't all after me.  As far as Europe is concerned  ...... believe it.

Did somebody upset you. .
So let's see, it sounds like you are trying to say that the EEC didn't insidiously transform into the European Union is that right ? Bearing in mind that the first time the British people were asked if they wanted to be in a union with Germany Europe was only a couple of years ago , after being just sort of dropped into it in the 9ts . Sounds like you are either neurotic or in denial. .
Did the Jeeeerrrmins bomb your chippy SNLT?

I think l probably realised just how much control the Jeeeerrrmins (as you call them Tony) had in Europe , in particular financially , around the time when they crashed the Greek economy , with the pesky wee euro . It’s hard to avoid the conclusion: Europe is becoming a continent where force matters more than law. Germany forced Greece to accept a programme that will destroy its economy and strip its state of assets for the next 50 years.

Nothing to do with the tax evasion and early retirements that were rife in Greece then - it was all those damn Germans - What would the Germans have to gain by crashing the economy of a country like Greece.  Seriously........

I love a conspiracy, but some of those sources

I think the new world order, one world government conspiracies have unravelled a bit since Trump got in/Brexit happened. I've heard the argument that the European project was aiming to eventually create some kinda European superstate... but there seems to be more emphasis on nationalism than globalism in the current political climate.

Centralised smart cities do give me the fear, especially once 5G comes in. The risk of radiation emissions will be far greater due to the fact that the technology will need to be installed with much higher density. You'd like to hope that it will be safe, but you never know....

Like the wireless generations before it, 5G will need its own frequency bands to occupy as it travels across cities everywhere. This is because the frequency bands of current 4G networks simply don’t have room to accommodate the enormous amounts of data 5G will be transferring around.

Typically, each generation has occupied a higher frequency band than its predecessor. 4G and all those before it fell within frequencies of 300 megahertz to 3 gigahertz. 5G will be the first generation to utilize millimeter waves, with much higher frequencies ranging from 30 to 300 gigahertz

Millimeter waves have a major downside. They don’t travel as far as lower frequency waves–they are unable to pass through buildings, and are absorbed by trees, earth’s atmosphere, and even the uppermost layers of human skin. To get around this issue, telecom companies will install small cells (which essentially are short range cellular antennas) in huge numbers.

There are a few different types of small cells, all of which have different broadcast ranges. The shortest range type, femtocells, reach less than 10 meters, and the longest range type, microcells, broadcast to roughly 2 kilometers. Due to limited area that small cells can provide coverage for, they will need to be installed at a much higher density – around one per every 10 to 12 households. So, if you aren’t living near a source of cellular transmission now, you almost certainly will live and work near several once 5G becomes widely available. Of course, this will make it all but impossible to avoid sources of EMF radiation

I was in Greece on holiday a couple of years ago and a guide showing us round Athens got talking about there economy at the time of the crash.....she claimed there were more Porsche's per head of population in Greece than anywhere else in the world and yet only a handful of people declared earnings of over 100,000 Euro's for tax purposes

It's already impossible to avoid EMFs, when you consider that major electrical components in power stations and in the electrical distribution network can be easily contained to avoid harmful exposure then you will see that the EMFs from telecoms equipment wil be very unlikely to be harmful.

The main threat, which is a low level one, of exposure to harmful EMFs comes from electriity sub stations and they are literally everywhere.  As well as those fibreglass containers and fenced-off installations in the street almost every factory, office block, major shopping centre and large-scale housing complex has this equipment installed

It's the fact they're going to be installed every hundred or so yards apart, so it's a huge increase on top of what's already there....

Also the fact that we'll be exposed to very high frequencies at short range, which will be a different type of signal for our bodies to deal with.

Like you say, it's probably going to be fine. We hope.

The biggest concern is how these new wavelengths will affect the skin. The human body has between two million to four million sweat ducts. Dr. Ben-Ishai of Hebrew University, Israel explains that our sweat ducts act like “an array of helical antennas when exposed to these wavelengths,” meaning that we become more conductive. A recent New York study which experimented with 60GHz waves stated that “the analyses of penetration depth show that more than 90% of the transmitted power is absorbed in the epidermis and dermis layer.A 1994 study found that low level millimeter microwave radiation produced lens opacity in rats, which is linked to the production of cataracts.

An experiment conducted by the Medical Research Institute of Kanazawa Medical University found that 60GHz “millimeter-wave antennas can cause thermal injuries of varying types of levels. The thermal effects induced by millimeterwaves can apparently penetrate below the surface of the eye.

A 2003 Chinese study has also found damage to the lens epithelial cells of rabbits after 8 hours of exposure to microwave radiation and a 2009 study conducted by the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Pakistan conclude that EMFs emitted by a mobile phone cause derangement of chicken embryo retinal differentiation.

A 1992 Russian study found that frequencies in the range 53-78GHz (that which 5G proposes to use) impacted the heart rate variability (an indicator of stress) in rats. Another Russian study on frogs who’s skin was exposed to MMWs found heart rate changes (arrhythmias).

A 2002 Russian study examined the effects of 42HGz microwave radiation exposure on the blood of healthy mice. It was concluded that “the whole-body exposure of healthy mice to low-intensity EHF EMR has a profound effect on the indices of nonspecific immunity”.

Very little is the answer.  I did some work in Greece with major consulting businesses and One or two local companies.  Historically Greece and Germany had close connections including Royalty. The Second World War end Philip's marriage to Elizabeth (now queen) changed their focus but as members of the eurozone much if the monies Greece borrowed came from German Banks.  You are right about the early retirements etc.  These stemmed from post second World War fears that Greece would become communist.  The military junta saw that off but politicians adopted populist policies (whilst allowing the rich to prosper).  Distinctly mocracy.  Don't we just love it.

Seriously . .

The answer to your asinine question is in the post if you care to read it all. .

Honestly. .

We are way off topic with this but there do seem to be several health concerns to do with 5G. I don't suppose anyone would want a mobile phone tower in their garden . A US senator is trying block 5G in the US  https://takebackyourpower.net/dissent-fcc-5g-vote-declares-war-against-local-governments-americans/
