southsidebud
If we win this and Killie & St Johnstone play to current form and beat the other two relegation candidates we will be 10th on Wednesday night. Let's get it done!

Bud the Baker
Was it really only 5 games ago we were just 6 points behind Well? If we don't make ground up on Accies/Dundee on Wednesday night then it's looking grim.
whydowebother
As OK has amassed 9 points from 60 & we have 14 games 42 points to play for then something has to change quickly. If we average the same points from his first 20 games then we would only pick up another 6 points on that basis 2 more wins for Dundee & Hamilton and it’s all irrelevant Let’s hope these new guys produce the goods earlier than would normally be expected. St Mirren 4-1 Motherwell

St Mirren 4-1 Motherwell It is pointless predicting the future in this case from the past . . . 1. OK inherited cr*p and did what he could, moulding a sort of team to enable us to keep with the other 2 diddy teams. 2. He alienated the guys he needed to offload and when the window opened shipped them and others out and brought in almost an entire new team. 3. It will take time - some haven't even played one full match for us yet. 4. This wk is the 1st full week since the window closed and we have 3 days to plan for the Well game - they are on a run of 4 or 5 wins in a trot - and it is probably too soon for us - But maybees just Oran will get the tactics right and the players on the field won't give it away after the 1st few minutes or only play for 2/3rds of a match.. 5. Just maybees he will have them fired up and they will respond by giving us all something to cheer about - 3 precious points - If so we will move above the 2 diddy teams above us and he will already have 3 points from 2 games since the window closed . . . but we won't know until the game is played. St Mirren 4-1 Motherwell It's clear that we need to improve our performance and points / game ratio. None of the bottom three teams are safe. Any one of these that can put together a decent run of 3 or 4 games might open up a gap on the others. Would obviously be good to get 3 points against Well. I can understand where you are coming from Tansey was at fault in a couple of the NON - penalties and lost his man a number of times - I too was not impressed with Lyons in this one either. But Erhahon gave away the 1st and that set the ball rolling - He stood off too much at times also and was posted missing on a number of occasions - look at their 4th Morelos is coming in on his side and standing on his own.. Neither you nor I get to pick the team - but hopefully Motherwell will be a less tough gig that Sevco. I think Dreyer and McAllister are more attack minded than Tansey - it might be that P. McGinn, who is also less attack minded goes into the midfield and Corbu plays RB. Like you though I would like to see Erhahon getting some games in the middle of the park . . . not sure if this week is the time for it though - we will see.
