Sweeper07
And we now know I was indeed correct and the duck has landed - goals from him and assists and we will be delighted to pick up vital points . . .

Great guy to have around the club. Good influence, especially on the youngsters. Be even better if his big brother came up to see him a couple times ! Why? Do you have a man-crush to satisfy? turrabuddie
No, sorry to disappoint. I think it would attract media attention and provide positive publicity to the club via the resulting press coverage.

Sweeper07
Lovein it that Rice is saying that he is not feelin the pressure... Are his players so stupid that they will believe this? You can bet your boots that they are feeling the pressure - they certainly succumbed on Monday and should be two players down for this one too. It is in their hands - but it is in their hands to drop also - and against the best team in the bottom half of the league. OK it is in our hands in a way too - but we never passed up our chance last Monday like they did... we have momentum and far better players/manager etc. Let's send Dee down with a resounding Saints win - C O Y S And let Hamilton's fate be still in their own hands against the play-off side who gets through . . . St.Ricky
Came back and bit us in the bottom by taking a point away with him. He's doing OK.

To be honest, they are a poor but well drilled outfit. They are often hard to beat and physical all over the team. 8 points from 7 games is not that great, though its 3 better than us - but we have only scored 3 goals... We start scoring a decent amount and we will pass them. Realistically, they struggle year after year and have scrapped to stay in... its a risky arrangement. I know we struggled even more than them last time and have had more turmoil an da poor start this year.... BUT.... Rice's appeal will fade . . . Can't find fault with your argument at all Sweeper but he did perform a successful escape act last season and they are (just) ahead of us at present so fairs fair. I still expect them to have a tough time this season and they may not survive.
