Modern living when talking about property.........................:thumbsdown

Means you're sitting in your kitchen, along with cooking smells and noise from white goods.

Shove it, a kitchens a kitchen, a lounge is a lounge.

A toilet is a shitehoose.

Two Irish colloquialisms. One I love, one I hate.

For sone bizarre reason it always tickles me when Irish lassies call themselves lads. “C’mon lads! Let’s go.”.

on the contrary, when Irish repeat what you’ve just said followed by the words ........is right.

Me - “he’s a dickhead”

Irish person - “he’s a dickhead is right!”

Irritating phrases ‘ I really smashed it’

seems to be the most overused phrase out there at the moment.

another weird thing that’s going on, especially with the younger generation is the use of intonation at the end of every statement, sometimes think I have moved to Australia.
