nope. another big plunge into the bin for you

I know you’ve practically made it your life’s work to try & point out inconsistencies in my posts. It must be a real struggle for you, the failure to do so.

Sometimes I make spelling and grammatical errors because of how quick I type. Feel free to use them to feed your obsession.

The new appointment (if there is one) can only be Goodwin as there is simply no time left to go through the procedure of inviting new candidates.

I also feel a bit bad for Alloa here. Could you blame their chairman if he blocked GLS's number?

I think he probably sees St Mirren and Scott as the big Cash Cow that keeps giving!

Well, yeah, there is that. I'm trying to see what deal he's on there but can't. I assume he extended by a year - maybe we could just offer them a friendly - next weekend 😂

So, it looks as though OK is out on his arse and Jim Goodwin is #1 on the list... Purely as a new topic of discussion, If it wasn't a Saint Mirren legend and solely a nobody Alloa manager, would we be happy with the appointment? I know his job last season with limited resources was fantastic but can't help feel he's under qualified for the job. Especially when he has only got three weeks to build a squad before the serious stuff kicks off  -unless we write off the League Cup to give him slightly more time.

I wouldn't be up in arms if we do appoint JG but i'm not so sure his credentials qualify him for the job..

How can we talk about anyone being under qualified for the job when the last managerial appointment we made was a PE teacher?

How do you know anything Grieve has said is true?

the chairman was all over the media last week publicly pressuring his manager to move his family here. Why did he feel the need to break confidentiality and trust by doing that. And he never mentioned any change Kearney had asked for, he was pushing the change HE wanted.

any of that made up chum?

GLS has made no public statement that amount to ‘pressuring’ OK to move his family here. That’s just a lie.

The closest you’ll get is a comment saying he ‘hopes he’ll settle in Scotland’ Even with your known tendency to lie & hatred for all things GLS, saying that’s applying ‘pressure’ is beyond ridiculous.

That's even further from Coleraine.

All this talk of commuting is pish.

It’s clear that Rafa will have a bigger budget with us as Mike Ashley is a tight c**t, that was our big selling point. As for Kearney, it’s an opportunity in the EPL to make his name, and a cheap option for tight c**t Ashley. Both clubs agreed as we are on good terms due to their loaning of Paul Dummett and our ability to turn Dummett into a fantastic player.

Lets be honest, I’m sure my version of events is just as true as most of the other versions out there

Sorry to disagree but this is my particular specialism. Unless it was stipulated into his contract at signing that he had to move by a certain date then the club, no matter who said/thought what, have in full knowledge let a custom & practice of Oran commuting be firmly established.

that can only be changed by mutual agreement, or a new agreed contract i.e. Better deal for Oran. That would have been so easy to negotiate and cost a fraction of what this settlement will cost. And if Oran rejected the new contract offer the club could hold its head up to the support and say "look, we tried to get him signed for an additional year to benefit the club and protect our investment should a bigger club come calling for his services"

instead they will have pay him a settlement for effectively terminating his employment, which he could ask to add damages to, and Coleraine only need to wait till thats signed and get him for nowt!

Coleraine and Oran have been very careful in the media to pour cold water over the prospect of his potential return, with Coleraine chairman publicly saying he has a contract and seems happy at StMirren. You can see why Scott woukd be raging and cancelling the friendly, but again the club are committed to the financial fall, out of cancelling that friendly as it was part of Oran's original compo agreement with... guess who?

If this all comes to pass Coleraine will have ridden Scott like a two bob whore.... three time!

Now - suppose OK wanted to break his 3 year contract and go to Coleraine then We would be due compensation
