Are Alloa not the best structured part-time club in Scotland? Well run and ambitious unlike ourselves.

Never mind their manager, can we get their chairman. Consistently has them punching above their weight and always has an eye for a good manager. Managers never have a bad word to say about him.

How many Alloa managers have gone onto better things compared to St Mirren?

I think a few fellow posters need to question the very obvious club leaked smears that

A: Kearney has orchestrated all of this.

B. That he regularly misses training and just leaves his job for others to do

C. And the wholly laughable smear that Oran wanted to fly to Ireland and back everyday ffs! How could he afford up to £1500 pw or £6k a month put of his wages? C'mon.... its ballocks!

the club f**ked up royally by not inserting a clause into his contract compelling him to move by a specified date or risk being in breach of contract and liable to summary dismissal i.e. No compo.

the very fact that the club are having to meet his settlement demands tells you no such clause was inserted, indeed the laughable smear that he wanted to fly here and there everyday becomes even more of a joke when you consider as that in itself wold be a material change in any agreement, and the club could simply refuse, and if Kearney started to do it, again he'd be looking at summary dismissal and... you guessed it NO Compo.

add to this complete clusterf**k that neither chairman or CEO are prepared to front this out to fans and media, but choose to be in other parts of the world leaving it to Mr Wardrobe to try to spin things on their behalf.

please just think about these scandalous allegations, look at the man they are levelling these against, and the complete lack of any evidence to back any of them up, and the fact NO senior official at the club is making them. Well least not through official channels.

the club is poisoned, the chairman has chosen to rule it in a way that is anti-fan despite the claims made. What manager worth his salt will walk into the clusterf**k at Greenhill road? I see Owen Coyle has joined the list being touted as potential successors. Funny that as his family live even further away than Kearney's, and he didnt move them back up here when he was at Ross County.

i do expect there may be a possible resignation or two from people at the club now at their wits end. And despite the hype can anyone see Gus giving up that comfy billet he's found in exchange for being sacked before October?

Hmmm, or in much redacted version, Kearney didn't fancy it after his wee induction to the league , decided nah, not for me,  I'm off. GLS wasn't going to work too hard to change his mind.

Strangely with Coyle, he was last seen bolting from Ross County, family and commuting doesn't seem to sit too well  ????  Coyle did an OK, except Coyle folded, packed it in, no suggestion of a nudge over although that was probably looming. He was terrible for Ross County

You just don’t give up so you?

You’re hellbent on painting the club in a bad light when you don’t know anything that happened.

You’re so anti-GLS that even if the truth of the matter was that Kearney had requested an increase in commuting days and asked the club to pay for it (which is the rumour I heard but didn’t make a big deal about as it has as much credence as the rest of them) you’d still find a way to twist it.

You state opinion as fact and, despite your assertion yesterday that “Employment Law is a specialism” can’t wrap your head around why the club haven’t come out and satisfied your petulant need for information during a period where it’s obvious there are legal and contractual implications.

Holding the club to account is one thing (and I’m in favour of it BTW) but your incessant, negative, dribbling on almost any matter you don’t agree with is just tedious.

“What manager worth his salt would walk into Greenhill Road”? Let’s wait and see shall we?

So your first paragraph, if thats the case why are the club paying his settlement? Doesnt sound like the guy out on the pitch at Hamilton home hame, Dundee away or in the play offs?

A lot of words, pure speculation of course, repetitive one-sided speculation

Your rant does nothing to address the only real fact that we can be sure of.  Six weeks ago (yes 6) speculation appeared in the press regarding our then manager returning to Coleraine.  As out of the blue as it was the speculation did not disappear.  Low and behold, with the job still open, Mr Kearney goes and falls out with our Mr Scott.

Now I do not know what happened but that 6 week old story has left me bloody suspicious, bloody suspicious indeed.

What is his settlement, how would you know any details about that

Apparently OK didn't fancy it, things soured, GLS allegedly never was the greatest OK fan either

GLS and OK fell out

That's about it.

Nowt else remotely relevant................we move on

How do you know this?

Because if he had breached his contract they would have terminated his employment, instead he has stated he was happy to carry on in the job until the dispute was resolved, but the club told him to stay away, effectively terminating his employment, but not as is clear because of a breach if contract.

why would tou pay compo to someone you didnt need to?

Really, even though its been widely reported a settlement has been agreed, you still want to question that fact?

if there was no settlement then he would have been sacked, that didnt happen hence the club i.e. ( you and me) Having to pick up the tab for yet another Scott led clusterf**k.

but i like the line you state and a few others do that "Scott never wanted Oran" funny that as he interviewed him on two separate occasions, and gave him the job absolutely gushing that we had got the right man.

funny how people seem to forget all that.

People are making a whole bunch of assumptions about the circumstances here.
are you saying it isn’t possible there was business to do the last few weeks when manager & players were away? We aren’t trying to get players singing new contracts, look at possible signings & complete all the day to day admin? So because no one has signed yet, we haven’t been actively trying? Did the club just completely shut down for three weeks?
Nonsense

^^^^ making assumptions in order to criticise others making assumptions

Here's a quote from the manager who was apparently orchestrating his departure

Kearney had said he was keen to remain with St Mirren and build on improved form at the end of the season despite his wife and family remaining in Northern Ireland,

Seriously ? That means nothing. That’s just a standard  play.  You  think  he would say anything else in his situation, really ??? The guy is an educated professional, he’s had  a tiff and a change of heart,

He has  moved on, so should we

Of course you don't know zilch... maybes the speculated compensation is being paid to us by Coleraine and/or Oran to terminate his contract ….

I just love your comment about your speculation being a fact while Dibbles is only speculating . . .  best laugh for a while ! :hammer

So you have evidence to suggest he's lying?

Wooosh

The story that Oran Keanrey would return to Coleraine did indeed appear 6 weeks ago in the press, having read it I can confirm that to be a fact.

Your rant was one sided speculative nonsense.

Now just to be absolutely clear, I find your last response to me to be rather stupid, stupid indeed.
