Wednesdays movie....................

No photo description available.

Due to red tape regarding Brexit, car and tyre manufacturers have had enough and are leaving

So the movie is Escape From Alcatraz

No winners yesterday.....................

If you said Back to the Future you’d be thereabouts. Specifically it is Back to the Future Part III, the last of the time-travelling trilogy directed by Robert Zemeckis. The image shows the original 1985 wheels on the DeLorean time machine, the retracted wheel on the flying version and the red/whitewall ones fitted in 1955. The only film you’ll see all three variations is Part III. The original tyres perished from being stored in a mine in 1885 by Doc after the DeLorean was struck by lightning at the end of Part II. Marty and the 1955 Doc retrieved the car from the mine, changed the wheels to the whitewalls and this allowed Marty to travel from 1955 back to 1885 to rescue 1885 Doc from being shot. You still with me? Fantastic writing and a great end to the series.

What is the answer?

I'll assume you mean yesterdays......................................Back to the Future III. (See 4 posts above yours)

Oh sorry, checked back.....................Highlander.

The image has a lot of zeros but only one (one). There can be only one in which movie.....Highlander.  Starring Christopher Lambert as the immortal Connor MacLeod, Sean Connery as Ramírez (his mentor) and a fabulous Clancy Brown as the baddie Kurgan. With a Scottish back story the immortals gather in New York to sword-fight to the death until only one remains to claim “the Prize”. Great rock soundtrack by Queen!

Yesterday's answer is one the biggest movies made to date....James Cameron’s Titanic. In 1997 it was the highest grossing movie of all time with the highest budget (since surpassed). It also scooped a joint record 11 Oscars out of a joint record 14 nominations. The definitive and romanticised story of the most famous shipwreck in history. The image is a simplified version of the movies famous poster.

Well done Yflab. :thumbs2
