truesaint Posted August 23, 2019 Report Share Posted August 23, 2019 It is interesting watching John McGinn and his movement and reading of the game. Sure he hasn't got good pace but he only moves in midfield to either move with a running player or to expect how the play is going to go. Can't say I have seen many other midfielders take this strategy apart from Zidane and a few others. Seems to work for him even without some of the ability of the greats of the game. Bet he wishes he was a bit taller and had a bit more pace but for what he was given he is making the most of it. Deserves what he is getting right now.
