If we can't do better, I would crave a couple of years of mid table mediocrity to get us established and allow us to start the next season's recruitment before others. Then we can dream.

^^^^ THIS - This has got to be our short term aim. 9th to 6th for a few seasons. No relegation worries and bigger share of the pay out monies: Able to get our transfer business done earlier and less drastic clear outs year after year. Continuing to give some of our youth players the chance to step up, but also loaning a few out at League 1, 2, or Championship levels . . .

The last three seasons have been the best seasons in years. Coming back from the dead to stay in the Championship on the last day of the season with a draw at Hibs 2 years ago. Winning the league last season. Staying up with the last kick of the last game this season. Would we have it any other way? It is what being a Buddie is about. Poor Celtic fans have no idea the emotions we go through.  We just need more defibrillators around the stadium :)

Excitement value 9.5/10.0.  Edge of the seat stuff. Spot on Sonny.

We must have some targets already lined up . Any other McGinns out there

Had to come back to this one.

The Mac Allister trio. Argentine born 1 defender 2 midfielders. Sons of Carlos Mac Allister who was an Argentine International. They set up an academy over in Argentina and I am sure one of the boys is now with Brighton but on loan to Boca juniors. There was a good article in the Scotsman years ago about the connection.

I wonder if we have an international scout of some sort who looks to form some sort of relationship with academy's abroad to potentially bring in youth players from outside Europe and inside for that matter.
