Happyfan Posted August 10, 2019 Report Share Posted August 10, 2019 Just to clarify, he chose to change career (he is also intelligent and capable of doing things other than football!) He was unhappy in a world without predictability or stability. He didn’t enjoy the level of constant pressure. He is now happily working for BAE systems, project management, and is having a complete break from football. He’d been with Rangers pro-youth since he was 12 and played professionally for 2 and a half years, so he knows the reality of the job and has opted out. He was highly regarded as a goalkeeper, no issues, and could have gone on to do well, but at the end of the day, he made his own decision to leave his football career (which wasn’t easy)Hope this all makes sense!
