St. Mirren v Dunfermline 14th July 2019

Better. we're still brutal but at least we're showing a bit of fight.

Goody still looks fuming, Cooke and Mullen getting a bit more of the ball, Andreu coming into it.

BT have outdone IOBS though the guy they were saying was him looked nothing like him unless he has dyed his ginger hair black was definitely not him.

Was that who the camera was focused on? Didn't look like much of an athlete! The burd did look Dutch though.

Give the boy a break ffs trying his best made first goal

His age, IMO, isn't the key issue.

Today is like last season, played out of position and getting a roasting.

His fault, well, partly but the manager has to shoulder some of the blame.

FT 2-3

Second half a bit better but didn’t do enough, certainly deserved to lose overall.

Lot of signings required, will be a busy 6 weeks between now and the end of August for sure. Need new players everywhere pretty much.

Funny results happen in this group stage so no point in panicking, if we beat Edinburgh City, East Kilbride and Albion Rovers we will almost certainly qualify.

Just need to make sure we do it. This time two years ago we got gubbed 5-0 by Partick Thistle. This time last year we drew at home to Spartans. Both times we won our opening league game a few weeks after.

We look truly awful in defence. Absolutely need three new signings back there or we are going to struggle.

I trust Goodwin can improve our shape when attacking. Really do need someone like McAllister up there though too.
