Ok, here is how it works in the real world

  • Loaned players are loaned so they go back to parent clubs at the end of the loan agreement
  • The club then decides if they want to see if they can, get another loan, or buy/ obtain on free if required, as the players contracted to the club we loaned them from
  • Its June the 5th, 7 working days after we secured our Premier Status
  • Gus will have been given green light on Plan A and no doubt with a budget
  • Gus will have to sit with Oran ( who no doubt) is back in NI with his fam, taking a little time out
  • First move is to see who we want to stay that is contracted with us
  • Second, see who may be available for loan or purchase
  • Third- Involve Oran as its going to be his team, discuss with agents, players and other clubs
  • We have secured Prem Status- with all that comes with it, and after a sellout last game, we should attract more Season Ticket Holders
  • The strip will no doubt involve Black and White

We are about to sign Mo Salah - go buy your ST !

I seen him at Asda Linwood, finished my shopping and went straight to the clubshop and purchased my season ticket. Why else would he be at Asda :P

As theclub try and sell season tickets ,we have signed no new players,no rumours of new players ,no sign of  new strips ! Has the club no PR/Marketing ideas ?

Many players are on holiday bar those on international duty. It's the 5th June and most contracts expired this month.  You and I have no idea what is going on behind the scenes but would rather take a little time to bring in the right players than a lot of dross ala Stubbs. Also, it is worth noting that anyone brought in has to be paid but won't kick a ball in earnest until August.

^^^^ THIS... The button was pressed a week ago and contract offers were made to players we wanted back/retain... The list for plan A was well known in advance of the final survival - so in most cases agents/players were informed - but Family holidays are important and taking the priority right now. This does not mean that there will be no phone calls, emails or texts, but when they return meetings will be in place, negotiation and contracts will be scrutinised/signed/rejected etc.

The club might not be the best on PR - they can't even manage to keep their website up-to-date BUT their focus on improving the club's squad and league position for next season is unrelenting... Having said all this, having targets is still different from having players sign for us . . . their will be successes and disappointments.

In the meantime, I wait with baited breath - but don't expect much to be said in the next 5 days...at least         🌈

Ffs the season ended 10 days ago. And no rumours isn’t strictly true, Muzec, Hodson and Mac all rumoured to getting signed up for next season.

Real st Mirren  fans shouldn’t need the PR of signing rumours to buy their tickets.

At least get the strips out before the holidays!

The Strips should have been out for the Easter Holidays or at the latest, the Play Off matches.

You are right - it could at least have been announced when they will be available.

I don't know, but I suspect the orders would have been placed for 2019/2020 once we knew that we would be in the Premiership for next season, and certain people are now away on holiday while they are being produced. This way they will be in on time for folk being back soon..

We don't need new fans.

Because those who run our Club do not respect St Mirren Fans and Football, next Season once again we will have St Mirren children booted out their seats in the Children's Stand to accommodate SCUM SECTARIAN BIGOTS.

MORONS IN STEREO AT GREENHILL ROAD FAMILY FRIENDLY STADIUM.

Mugsrus.

New fans also shouldn’t need to see transfer rumours from the club or wait for a new strip everyone knows is coming. All this shows is a lack of patience.

I agree we shouldn't be giving both stands to the two cheeks but your rant is factually incorrect. No one children or otherwise are being "booted out their seats" for them as they will have purchased (knowingly) a ST for a stand that will not include the games against the filth.  Sentiment I agree with but you can't go round making statements that are blatantly untrue in a bid to stir up a reaction.
