Guest TPAFKATS
Short stage today but its a 35k climb After yesterdays events it looks like its bernals race to lose. However to be regarded as a true champion he has to blow away his main rivals on this climb, if he just sits in the peloton and marks his rivals, people will say he did not truly win the tour de france. the team ineos tactics today will be fascinating, looks like geraint thomas will never win the tour de france again. Great Tour this year. Kinda had everything including the weather.Thomas may never win another tour or even any grand tour but he's won one, and been on the podium which is more than 99% of pro cyclists achieve. Also showed himself to be a gent today coming over the line with bernal and his tweet minutes afterwards
Bud the Baker
Primoz Roglic winning La Vuelta for Jumbo-Visma with a very Sky/Ineos performance. Wee Nairo coming to the end of his spell with Movistar in 4th place with Valverde in 2nd - it's hard not to think that Movistar have been a lot less than the sum of their parts over the last coupla seasons. Always the best team, just don't get the overall victory for individual rider. Did Nairo get the green Jersey?
