Rosario YFC and Coleraine

Maybe Coleraine are far from squeaky clean in what's been going on. I take that back if they don't appoint OK as their new manager

Whereas St Mirren were linked with Jim Goodwin last summer and he said he wanted to stay with Alloa for the season ahead. Season over. Goodwin says he is ready to go fulltime. Suddenly Oran's desire to continue to commute as often as he had last year becomes a deal-breaker and Oran is fired and Jim is our new manager. Shocking conduct from Coleraine and OK eh?

That team shows how much work needs to be done to get things sorted for the start of the season. Only Baird, MacPherson, Flynn and the injured Cooke and Tansey missing from it (aside from Heaton and Kellerman).

So, adding in Lyness, Macpherson and Popescu that’s 17 first team names.

If he’s aiming for a squad of 21 then just 4 more players needed!

I would double that. The squad needs to move on a few and get more quality in. This was always the case.

These games are a great opportunity for all the new players and new manager to get to know each other. :lol:

Thought Oran wasn't making any plans to bring players in during this window according to the ITK crowd!

There is a direct quote from the man himself in last week's PDE that he isn't one for endless trialists, but one or two would be fine. :)

Only 6 years old ? I was at that game and the early/mid-80s would have been my guess.

The most memorable aspect for me was that Jackie MacNamara (senior) was red carded before half time and the St Mirren DJ managed to play a recording of the song "MacNamara's Band" (obviously MacNamara's Banned) in time for the half time entertainment.

There's a direct quote from Gary MacKenzie on the official site saying his new contract was agreed at the end of last season too. I think most people would have been pretty happy if we kept the core of the team who finished the season with us and added some better striking options.

Apparently no 10 is a French world cup winners son. Cooke is injured and the trialists are all recommended by Iran. Ones called paul
How did the No.10 play bud?
It was Oan Djorkaeff, Ex Nantes midfielder
