Recommended Posts

Tensions growing today America sent another 1,000 troops to the gulf already a whole naval fleet is there.A huge portion of the world's oil goes through the Gulf. Oil has already went up in price. Iran has a battle hard army who have been fighting in Iraq and Syria. Mr Trump pulling out of the nuclear deal has created this situation. Have America learned nothing.

No mention of us.

They’ve been planning this for ages. Iran is the biggest opponent of Israel and Saudi Arabia, so the Americans would love to shaft them over. Looks like this nonsense of two ships being attacked is the catalyst the Americans have planted to start making their move.

Common sense would dictate that the Iranians would not blow up two Japanese ships while both of their leaders are discussing trade deals with each other, but the MSM won’t bother telling you that part. Incredible how all these countries the US invade just happened to have supposedly done something to trigger the invasions.

Your 100% correct. America and Isreal if believed have had a list of regeme changes in the middle east Iran is the last one. America went into the Vietnam war by faking an attack on it's own battle ship.

If something breaks out we are part of NATO are we not.

Thought NATO was for our own protection. Besides, America is big enough to look after itself. Couple of tweets and it will be all over.

That went down well.

Whilst I have no evidence on the most recent ships etc, USA have a history of 'false flags'. These are confirmed in disclosed/public documents and through basic research. As does the UK to be fair. Mind the weapons of mass destruction and all the evidence we have.....

Therefore, I wouldn't be surprised by this again. There is plenty of political and financial benefits to be gained from another war, sad times.

More importantly. This is USA, and, even more so, Trump we're talking about

It will all depend on how Trumps 2020 campaign for the Whitehouse is shaping up. History has shown a war is always a good tactic to help a flagging political campaign.  He has to manufacture that situation so he has the option on the table.

I don’t believe Trump has to do much to win the 2020 elections, the Democrats are giving him all the help he needs.

Unfortunately I don’t believe he is flagging . The polls have him with a slightly higher approval rate than Obama had at a similar period of his first term in office.

Trump does however have a much higher proportion who strongly disapprove of his presidency .

As was said previously , the Democrats seem to be rolling out a red carpet for him at present .

Unemployment in US is at a lower rate than it’s been for decades ( if you believe the figures ) and the city seem to like him so I would think if the election was tomorrow he’d walk it.

That said , I think he is the very person who would start a fight in an empty room if it helped raise his profile . God help us !

Anyone supporting either the USA or Iran/Russia/China over this needs their heads examined.

It's just like the Middle East. Two sides behaving appallingly and trying to manipulate support from people who really should know better.

I would stay clear of diplomacy mate

It’s all geopolitics, always has been, always will be.

War is good for business... Now would be a good time to get on a trading app and lump on to arms companies.

War, or even the threat of war, is also enough to make the gullible population believe that we actually need a government to protect us.

In reality, most things can be / are run privately, without much need for government influence. The only thing they really do is select where money is allocated and arrange for your bins to be collected.

A full government shut down could happen (like it did in America recently over Trump’s wall) and we could probably get on reasonably if we all made the effort as a population.
