St.Ricky

St Mirren v Edinburgh City

Recommended Posts

Well. We should be really up for this one. Taking nothing for granted but expect a clear win.
On paper yes. Same as yesterday, where I over optimistically expected us to overrun Pars and win 5-1. Oops...
City will really up for this especially after Pars performance so JG really needs to get our players to up their game if we want to avoid further embarrassment and more negative headlines.

We are in, by far, the weakest group. Still should qualify , however we need goals

This isnt Goodys team, its probably closer to Stubbs team than Orans................

Priority- get players in, get them across the line, and give some players who play at committing to us ( SMcGinn in particular) a jolt.....

Although Stubb's team never lost a game in last season league cup group games, which included Kilmarnock.

You forgot Dumbarton.

Anyhow, we're sure to go through, the remaining games are easy.

Already a must win game if we are to progress. Anything but a 90 minute win and it’s unlikely we’ll make it through.

Edinburgh City 2-3 Saints (Cooke, Djorkaeff, Mack)

Paul Mack? Mrs Mack? I didn't think we were that desperate.

Not remotely concerned about the defeat at the weekend

I honestly believe that we will be 8th or higher minimum in the league

The cup ? Let’s get a good few wins & get out the group first.

Saints to be more attacking and win 5-1
