I work from behind a desk every day and have a lot of autonomy in my role. The nature of the role isn't overlay fast paced though, a lot of it is a reliance on being provided MI and testing.

Yes, I did.

I used to have a lazy (sorry, “autonomous”) MI guy work for me too. I just created a greater scope for his role to ensure he wasn’t getting paid for f**k all and he only had time to fanny about during his breaks which suited everyone.

I’m not an ‘MI guy’ i rely on MI but I work in risk Assurance. I promise you my company get their worth out of me, reliance on other business areas means it’s not unusual for me to be working 10 hour days then signing back in when I get home.
