Carswell and Hutton weren't Journeymen , they were just piss . Would describe the likes of Potter , McGowne , Maxwell , Reilly etc as Journeymen .

Fair point, I apologise to the journeyman community which produces many fine servants for clubs of our size.

Carswell and Hutton are indeed just pish, and bigoted sevco pricks as well.

Pretty sure I read elsewhere he was German born so no work permit required for now (post Brexit no idea of the impacts for that). It's just the paperwork between the footballing authorities that is required.

German born, but has Turkish citizenship. No probs if he has dual citizenship?

Ilkay still has dual citizenship by the way. Özil is solely German as he gave his Turkish passport back. :whistle

Not to piss on your chips but there has hardly been a shortage of unknown duffers coming through the doors over the years.
We can be confident though. Even the worst of the January foreign recruits, Mr Duck, had something about him. Better these little gambles than journeymen pish like Stewart Carswell and Kyle Hutton.

We can only hope for the best any ilkay welcome to our great club

If Goodwin is saying his aim is to bring in 4 or 5 players between the end of the League Cup campaign and the close of the transfer window does Durmus' signing end the chat of us also signing a second winger (Kyle McAllister)? We certainly need two defenders, better striking options and if Foley is signing that's our 4-5 signings priorities taken up before adding a 2nd winger.

Our transfer business won’t be done at the end of this week, whether it’s 4 or 5 that come in.

Probably around another 3 will come in after this week, but think English clubs are keeping things right with their window closing early August (8th?).

Durmus completed in the past season for the Rieder 35 league games, scored eight times and prepared eleven goals. Previously, played the winger in the youth of Hoffenheim, Stuttgart, Genclerbirligi, Antalyaspor (Turkey), the FAC and Austria Lustenau.

Maybe he's always wanted to play for the Saints since he learnt that the awesome legend, Billy Mehmet was a much loved fixture in Paisley...

Maybe their paths crossed?

Mibbe no...
