Sean McLoughlin CB Joins on 6 month loan from Hull, he only just signed a 3yr deal at Hull and is highly thought of.

Goes straight into the  squad for the Hibs game.

Hang on a minute. It says in that article that Gus watched him last season.

I thought Gus had been doing nothing?

If he was doing his job properly, we could have beaten Hull to him. (cut out the middle man) :whistle

Welcome Sean. Get stuck right in, don't get caught in possession too often, tackle, header and defend  like Maldini and score a few from corners and free kicks in the opposition net...

This is a very decent signing indeed ! Well done all involved in making it happen !!!

League of Ireland is probably of a similar standard to our league, so if he’s managed to win a move to Hull from that level then he should be a decent signing for us. Match fit too thanks to the Irish summer season.

You're having a laugh with that line in bold?

feck me they couldnt get a game on last season in the fizzy pop cup. And Brad Lyons came fom there!

lest hope Sean can get up to speed with full time pro football in this league asap. It will be a quick, steep learning curve for him.

Brad Lyons came from the Northern Irish League (if we are ignoring Blackburn). Cork are ROI.

Minus Celtic and Sevco 2012, we haven’t seen a Scottish side reach a European group stage in over a decade. Dundalk and Shamrock Rovers have managed it more recently, and they definitely ain’t got the budgets of Celtic and Sevco.
