Moffat is nice and has a good site I believe, easy drive too with it being just off the M74.

If  your only spending 4 days travelling, take in Culzean Castle, Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle (+Wallace Monument close by) and there's Doune castle, also in Stirling area. That way you'll not be

We're looking at Carnoustie to start with.

If it all goes wrong we can get a taxi home. :rolleyes:

Kidding apart, aye, we'll be using proper sites for a while before getting braver and going off-grid.
