Time to shelf the gimmicks and charge correct prices for Adults & Children going to football matches in Scotland.

All Forty Clubs must slash prices while adjusting their budgets to suit.

Adults £8 or £9

Concessions £4

Small bairns can be free.

Whilst some people moan and complain, there's little real evidence that cost is a significant barrier to people's decisions on attending our games.

Some decide the journey to the ground is too long for them, fair enough. Some find that their young child now has other interests and naturally choose to support those. Some have caring duties. A number may now choose to watch on TV. None of these understandable decisions are made on cost

Attractive, selective pricing for particular games, though does make a difference, particularly for groups, so good one Saints. There is a growing appetite to come along to watch the games. Nurturing the young, families and groups is a wise move.

Not going to happen.

Club owners, notably, Motherwell, have tried going down the  price reduction route and it didn't end well for them.

Special Offers for selected games or packages for say three matches is a different story and does work at the margins.

A good opportunity for more people to come along to see the Saints at a discounted cost.  A win away to Ross County and we might top 5,000 for this one at home.

How did that work out for u?

StMirren v Hamilton, would the stadium even been full if it was free entry? Can't think of a worst fixture in entire league!

Wouldn't make any difference to yourself, the Arbroath Haddie or the Shullster anyway as you are never there.

We have two home games coming up that should we win them would move us away from the bottom. First one up is Hamilton.

We will be lucky to get a point out of those games. as long as we persevere with Obika and Morais
