HSS
600 new homes being built on Hawkhead Rd at present 1200 new houses in 1 area, minimum of 2 cars per house gives us roughly an extra 2500 cars on the road in an area that already suffers at rush hours. Traffics a nightmare as it is, and now they are closing the road w/c 23rd Sep.

Chaos ahead. There are also plans for the UWS Thornley Park Campus not sure if that's included in these figures. There goes the green belt, which is also a flood plain. There is only a one lane road from UWS past dykebar down Hawkhead to arkleston. No plans to improve the infrastructure, many places it won't be possible to increase road or rail capacity.Article says Paisley is popular, however who buys these new houses? Given the price its rarely first time buyers. Simply moving folk around the wider area, same as Bishopton?
Hambud
The help to buy scheme mean a lot of people want to buy a new house. Builders very often help people sell their existing house so it can be quite an attractive prospect. Chaos ahead. Honestly dont enjoy driving up the road now. Yesterday was in Greenock, Paisley and Glasgow. Glasgow was stressful, Paisley busy then I hit Greenock at 5pm slow movement. Infrastructure cant cope with busy times too many cars. Getting back to Bute was bliss. Suppose it's what you get used to. Not all drivers but many out there do anything to beat the car in front which can be dangerous.

Just not aware of too many homes %age wise in Bishopton or dykebar development that will meet that criteria price wise.

Village sounds good though. Would it be politically correct to suggest IF it is a village; surely it will need an idiot? And we do have a few to spare on here, might we suggest applications? 😎

Yeh, cos developers usually build new double carriageways and a railway when building new housing estates. The good news for those who have moved to Bishopton , is that , the new junction there for the M8 , now in its fourth year of constuction, is now nearing completion. .
