Assuming Hearts and Hibs pull further ahead of us - we are now looking at clawing back Hamilton, Livingston and Ross County and staying above St Johnstone.

At the moment we do not look capable of achieving this.

Unless we start scoring goals, things could be decided before the January transfer window.

The return of a fit Cody Cooke and Stephen McGinn could help our scoring/survival chances.

Once again , we are totally punchless upfront , if this continues we will be way behind come Jan window , it’s a worry🤢

The stats don’t look too bad, 14 shots on goal.

All be it I wasn’t there so it could have been 14 knee, shin toe trundlers.

Pointless putting Djorkaeff on when 2 down and only a few minutes to go.

It’ll be interesting to see JG’s post match interview. Are there any free agent strikers out there that could walk into the team and do the business.......

We had 4 decent attempts on target - better than some weeks, but I agree, Motherwell had 15 attempts on our goal and 7 on target and the likelihood of scoring generally increases by the number of chances you have on target...

We were beaten by 2 good goals, but for our keeper it could well have been more... We need to really have a go - the current set-up is not allowing us to win games or score goals very often at all  . . .
