Thommo on Radio keeps going on about how our final ball, final pass is poor.

The commentator also talking how poor our set pieces are maybe our management or coaching staff will realise this soon.

Let's be brutally honest - we're just not good enough. We've been gash for several seasons, but usually have been bailed out by some other team being even more sh*te than us.  Don't know what the reasons are, but we continually sign donkeys who can't cut it at this level. Can't see a way out of this soon.

Compare Hibs strikers with ours - sadly they have more potency and this is why they won and we lost...
It does not help when a CB has a poor game either . . . :bag
Not necessarily the better strikers makes the difference our final ball all season has been really bad and this has caused alot of our problems. The right chance even bad strikers will score look at some of the goals we have away this season the opposition almost couldn't miss those chances.

Don't know about that. Even when we do put in a good ball, Obika still manages to fall over the bloody thing.

Gave them far too much respect with the 4-1-4-1 formation. Wingers not getting far enough up the park and not much support from Magennis.

The Magennis conundrum continues. People keep saying he’s best in the centre, but that’s the last two games he’s started there and not influencing the game in any way.

We can say ‘it’s one of those games’, but think Goodwin needs to take ownership for the loss given how we were set out. Hopefully learns from it, too much defensive discussion in the media ahead of the game.

I take your point, but tonight and in other games we have actually created decent chances that are regularly being missed.

If we improved our final ball we might create more chances, but how many more goals would we score - some but not perhaps enough.

We have missed some fairly glaring chances

It was obvious near the end that Magennis is carrying an injury.

BUT the main problem was Jim thought  his team  was not good  enough  to beat this team.

Got his tactics all wrong ,we should be pressing from the front from the kickoff.

What carrying an injury like S McGinn?

Your obviously still carrying your injury too - concussion usually repairs quicker than you are experiencing - go and lie down for a couple of years !

You and the rest of us can then get some rest from your incessant repetitive digs at players you don't like . . . :hammer

McKenzie playing his last season at St Mirren

Obika totally lacking confidence in front of goal, otherwise though he was decent.

For the life of me don't understand what Jim was thinking with taking Flynn and Obika off for McAllister and Morais.

Good to see Morais get off the mark though, hopefully he can build on that.

Thought we lost that game from kick-off.  Hibs were only 3 points better off than us yet we started with everyone behind the ball 25 yards from our goal-line allowing them to  pick passes (not that they did much with them) as we did not even press them. And when we did get possession we were far too slow in getting bodies forward and running into space. We gave a shit Hibs team far too much respect and sat back far too deep.

And why was Magennis not taken off as he was poor (again) and we must have the poorest lot of strikers I have seen in years - and that is saying something. Yes we deserved something from the game but we have to start better and try and dominate teams instead of allowing them to dominate us. And can we find a striker that can actually control a ball? Frustrated as hell at tonight's performance as Hibs were there for the taking.
