Hamilton V St Mirren 7th December

Shocking lineup.

Goodwin makes drastic changes every few weeks - how many of that squad does he actually trust? Foley, Magennis, P McGinn, McLoughlin, Flynn, Hladky?

That's a relegation defence and the forward line is identical to the Callum Ball and James Marwood combo. Who knows what the man sees in Obika.

Magennis is well overdue a spell on the bench and a young lad at centre half is better than McGinn in there with MacPherson flung in at RB.

2-0 Accies at least

That looks like it coud be am old fashioned 4-2-4

Jim's Wingless Wonders!

On the day England (my homeland EAB :P) won the WC Chris Farlowe was No. 1 in the singles chart with his cover of the Stones' "Out of Time" and "The Sound of Music" featuring the fragrant Julie Andrews was in the 4th of it's 5 spells as No. 1 elpee!

Agree the defence looks weak, but don't think he'd a choice given the injuries. The fact we have limited cover does rest squarely with JG, but that's another story.

I'm glad both wingers start, hopefully a sign we'll take the game to them.

As for your comparison of our current forward line with Marwood and Ball, well my flabber has been well and truly gasted. Obika and Morais may not be fantastic, but they are light years ahead of those two imposters.

Suspect weather, particularly the wind could play a significant part in this afternoons matches. Here's hoping it is to our benefit and we pull a bit of luck
Weather was similarly atrocious away to Livingston and Ross County & think that played a small part on our poor first half performances in those games.
