Been waiting for well over 100 years for anybody in power to rid this world of sectarianism and bigotry based in Scottish football.

The Clubs fecking thrive from it will do nothing.

Government welcomed Sectarian Sevco into pollute our beautiful game. They could have finished the bigotry once and for all.

Fecking complicit cnuts.

The SNP passed the Offensive Behaviour at Football Act in 2011, but when they lost their overall majority at Holyrood in 2017 the other parties including the Greens  combined to repeal the Act despite all the polling evidence showing that people (including both sets of OF fans :shockaroony) supported it, now I know politics is often conducted at a "yah, boo, sucks" level with the aim of embarrassing the party in power but it really was a shameful act (sic) by the other parties - if they didn't like the Act then surely amending it rather than total opposition would have been a better option.

It wasn't perfect but I agree. Amend rather than scrap would have been the option I would have preferred.

You may have a point. emoji38.png

He certainly has a stronger point on this than on the other thread where he is spouting off about why Sturgeon can't simply show some leadership and remove an MSP from Holyrood.

Wow just wow - you clearly have not looked into the background of that slogan or you simply are a racist who agrees with the context. Given some of your other postings recently I suspect the later is more likely.

Nothing wrong with the Thread. It is solely for discussion.

My problem is with John Swinney. He and every other MSP remain tightlipped when it comes to the continued bigotry and sectarian hatred from the fans of Celtic and Sevco which shames our Country.

Nothing said and feck all done.

Where is PERTH AGAINST SECTARIANISM ?

Oh aye.

Nae fecking where to be seen.

John Swinney forfuxsake.

To be fair to the SNP they did pass the Offensive Behavior at Football Act aimed at sectarianism

Can't wait for the forthcoming BBC adaption of the first of Malorie Blackman's Noughts & Crosses novels..

Quote

Since writing Noughts and Crosses in 2001, author Malorie Blackman has enjoyed plenty of success with her racially subversive book series.

Showing an alternate world where people of colour are superior to the white race, the novels begin with a tale of love within this racially charged dystopia. Despite being a work of teen fiction, Noughts and Crosses explores mature themes that continue to wrack society.

A new BBC adaptation of the popular and provocative novel, the first in the series, will air later this year – served up by a young and diverse cast. It promises an ever-challenging reminder of the problems society faces and fosters. Here's everything we know so far.

Can't wait for the total meltdown from the Usual Suspects.....

I think Kevin Spacey has more to worry about than that.

Is spacey not "in the clear" now - a combination of pay offs and untimely deaths for most of his pursuers.

No idea, to be honest.
I'm sure I saw something on social media linking to a news report. Could be fake news...

I don't want to search for it now - don't really want that on my history

So, given their current position why has it not been reinstated?
