Iran is 170th on this list. USA is 50th and the UK is 33rd. Least free to report freely is Iran, followed by the States and then UK. Some other countries involved also score lowly including Ukraine and Iraq. The truth is, rather depressingly, difficult to identify. Did the Iranian General deserve to die, might be debateable but the flight passenger s didnt. Local interference in press coverage is, ut appears, faiky common in the Uk, USA and Iran.
