Is this a way for Glasgow to get one back on Renfrewshire council.

I see your argument but isn't there also an element of what goes around comes around for Brae head and its impact on Paisley Centre?

Maybe. But I think it will impact just as much, if not more, on the shopping malls in the centre of Glasgow.

It's the lose of rates to Renfrewshire Council, I was more thinking.   Glasgow was never happy at losing boundary war.

What rates are raised are spent in Renfrewshire.  If Glasgow had got their way, it would have made a bigger impact.

I think brae head will undoubtedly lose some footfall from those in West Glasgow clydebank etc. It may however be offset somewhat by the new road bridge being built across the Clyde at Renfrew.

It's probably about time that part of Glasgow had investment in additional retail? Should tie in well with transport hub at Partick. As stated previously, likely to impact on city centre, esp with impending purge on private vehicles in city centre.
