Hearts boss talking about it being "a must not lose" game for them. They'll still come out all guns blazing. It's his Kevin Jeegan approach.. If you score three, we'll score four type of thing.

Hopefully it ends the same way as it did for Keegan.

Hope I’m wrong but I’ve got the fear for Wednesday, they are finally starting to find form whilst we shite the bed continuously. Gonna be a shit fest of a game. We need to stop being so nice to opposition and start showing some fight.

Agree. And we need to start showing some fight right from the start. Other than the Well match, we’ve been consistently slow starters this season. We cannot afford to be slow on Wednesday- need to be in their faces right from kick off.

Not sure if their CBs will be able to handle Obika and Jakubiak so if Durmus and McGrath/McAllister can provide decent service I can see us scoring a few goals.
Hopefully more than Naismith, Washington and Boyce get at the other end !

Dot Count:

08 March @ 10:55
Main Stand: M1 N/A, M2 16, M3 26, M4 11, M5 1, DIR, M6 4, M7 52, M8 21, M9 12 = 143
South Stand: S1 17, S2 42, S3 93, S4 58, S5 70 = 280
West Stand: W1 44, W2 73, W3 29, W4 12, W5 36, W6 40, W7 29 = 266
Total available tickets = 689
Capacity of the three home stands = 6,283
6,283 – 689 = 5,594 tickets sold in the home end. Plus the away support (presumably 1,654) = 7,248.

Got my tickets today and i also expect the crowd to be in excess of 7k.

Can’t wait.

COYS !!

Interesting comments, don’t think they’ll start in a defensive formation. I don’t think he does defensive.

Hopefully we can keep our discipline at the back and our midfielders track the runners.

Big crowd under the lights - hope we don’t crack under the pressure.

Mate the crowd will not be in excess of 5500k , like you I am going but expect a virus free experience due to the spaces in the home ends

Don't mention the virus unless we are losing at half time. If we are then demand the game be abandoned.

According to the club's ticketing website, we should be expecting a lot more than 5.5k:

As you can see, with the exception of the middle of the South Stand, the home sections are all 75% or more sold out. In some cases, like the one I highlighted (M6), there are just a few tickets on sale. The away section is completely sold out:

One thing I have noticed, which I haven't included in previous calculations is the club don't seem to put the front row seats on sale:

09 March @ 16:50

Main Stand: M1 N/A, M2 16, M3 15, M4 9, M5 1, DIR, M6 3, M7 48, M8 18, M9 11 = 121

South Stand: S1 17, S2 42, S3 92, S4 57, S5 65 = 273

West Stand: W1 41, W2 70, W3 25, W4 12, W5 35, W6 30, W7 27 = 240

Total available tickets = 634

Capacity of the three home stands = 6,283

6,283 – 634 = 5,648 tickets sold in the home end. Plus the away support (presumably 1,654) = 7,303.

Now, subtracting the front row seats:

[* Main Stand: 191; West Stand: 196; South/North Stands: 125 x 2 = 250 = 637] 7,303 – 637 = 6,666

The ends behind the goals hold 1636.to be precise

Are we "going for it" in this game, or is it another one that doesn't matter?
One things for sure, over their last few games Hearts have fought for their points.

Go for it all we like will still get pumped.

We beat Motherwell at their own patch twice, let's hope that's the kind of performance we get.

Motherwell have won 2 from their last 9 league games..................................seems almost everyone's beating them.

PS We only drew one of the games, sorry to burst your bubble.

Wow, Hearts drew with them, what's your point caller?

The fact is Motherwell have been on a slump, winning 2 from 9.

Better to look forward, Hearts are our main concern right now, along with Hamilton.

I'm looking forward. A win on Wednesday takes us up 2 places, which is definitely not beyond us providing we start taking our chances.

We played well against The Well, just as we have in patches in other games recently - arguably the better team v Aberdeen and St Johnstone but lacked in the final 3rd.

A question for you Elvis. Do you get some sort of kick in being so resolutely miserable?

Why would I be miserable I have a great life. I have been watching St mirren for a very long time and know exactly what is going to happen we are going to get pumped simple really not hard to work out its what we do best.
