pod
St Mirren FC @saintmirrenfc We are sorry to confirm that Ryan Flynn is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a cruciate ligament injury in Wednesday’s draw with Hamilton. We wish Ryan all the best in his recovery. Edited February 7, 2020 by pod
Magic Monkey
Absolutely heartbreaking. Probably our best player over the past 12 months. Actually, f**k the 'probably', he has been our best player. Two ACLs gone in the matter of a couple of weeks to two of our best guys. Stunningly bad luck for the players and the club. Best of luck with the recovery.
scam75
Definitely been our best player over the last 12 months. Gutted for him. Massive loss.
Lord Pityme
Letting P McGinn go looks even worse with that news. Hopefully like Magennis he is back for a full pre season.
munoz
That's terrible news. Dirty Hamilton bastards.
St.Ricky
Damn, drat and double drat. Has been terrific this season. Plan A has gone, Plan B In difficulty Plan C needed. Meanwhile.. Guest TPAFKATS
Assume hodson will now play right back. I was also assuming hodson would play left back against Killie. Guess erhahon will play there... Oh hang on.Its OK we will move the left footed on loan centre half out to left back for the 2 Killie games and play mackenzie at centre back.Because big sicknote will be back soon... windae cleaner
Very stretched in midfield and defensive options We are a lot weaker than before the window Flynn is a massive loss no ways about it Excellent in every position he has played. BuddieinEK
Gutted for Flynn who was on course for player of the season!I hate Hamilton hatchetmen even more now! Vile antifootballers!I suppose we can resort to Craig Leveins Scotland tactics in reverse...0-4-6or the fifties Hibs formation...2-3-5We've got enough forwards for either formation! Magic Monkey
The Cody Cooke centre half conversion needs to happen now. As does the Danny Mullen to fullback switch 😬
W6Saint
Look on the bright side, at least we have 6 strikers... at least 4 of which we know struggle for goals. Strap yourselves in, the relegation battle rollercoaster is back in town

I actually think he's better facing the opponent's goal than with his back to it, but CM might be a stretch. Maybe he should convert to a wide forward. St.Ricky
Remember when we had too many midfielders? McGinn, Magennis, Flynn and others with 3 now crocked.

southsidebud
Really bad news. Like others have said - he has been one of our best players over the last couple of seasons. Injuries can happen in any game, but I wonder what the ratio for opposition casualties is for games involving those hatchet men. Hoping for a speedy and painless return for Ryan. Hoping for a drawn out and painful relegation for Hamilton.
Tommy
So now we have no cover for the back 4 apart from MacKenzie Better pray that none of the back 4 get injured or sent off anytime soon. Also no L/B when we play Killie again.

Unless there are any reserves able to step up?

Worrying times regarding the back line depth - again.
