He forecast 600-700 for tomorrow in a reply to one of my posts.

Didn’t realise he was just posting random numbers.

Makes sense

He said he was only about 40 out yesterday, I did ask for clarification, he's not replied.

I don't understand graphs seemingly.

This New York you speak of, is this on another planet?

In one 24-hour period last week, 2000 people were hospitalised in the city. Most of the positive covid-19 test results have been clustered in the boroughs of Queens and Brooklyn.

At a press conference on 25 March, New York City mayor Bill de Blasio said these are “numbers I can barely even comprehend… number that would have been unimaginable just a couple of weeks ago”.

In Queens, hospitals and emergency rooms have been flooded with critically ill covid-19 patients struggling to breathe. “It’s inconceivable. Everything we know about medicine is out the window,” says Lisa Epstein, a nurse at New York-Presbyterian Queens, who is working in the hospital’s emergency room.

Waiting areas have been repurposed to treat people with covid-19. Beds, chairs, wheelchairs and stretchers fill every available space. “It’s like a war zone, only there’s no blood,” says Epstein, who has been a nurse for 40 years.

Yeh, that’s the one

Actual people in New York have been visiting the actual hospitals in these reports and finding that nothing is happening

Indeed, one TV news report was caught using footage from Italy and trying to pass it off as a hospital in New York

He didn't! And how in heavens name did you manage to arrive at the conclusion that it was homophobic?

He has called my reaction “ faux outrage”

He is totally correct, my “outrage” is totally faux

I just enjoy nit picking the posts of pompous, holier than thou, morally superior twats

You’d need to ask him why he thinks I was outraged if there was nothing to be outraged about.....

@shull

By and large I've given up reading the right-wing snowflake blogs you post but the one you The Guardian supporting chartering planes to fly in foreign farmworkers is a misrepresentation - I know because I read The Guardian article online last week and they were merely reporting (not supporting) discussions between Concordia & the NFU  to fill a small portion, 10k of the 90k needed, with foreign workers . I thought it was crazy to fly people in the current situation to do a job when as there must obviously be plenty UK citizens with time on their hands and the article .mentions plans to do so. Typical slanted right-wing snowflake blog!

I thought you were referring to his post about the chocolate line.

He doesn't know what he's referring to any more. He's resorted to lying about me deleting posts that are still there.

He'll have gone full postal by the weekend and will be claiming that CV is all a global conspiracy.

As much as I think he's a c**t, I do also think he genuinely needs help.

Biophysicist Felix Scholkmann has confirmed the fact that in the US (as in the rest of the world), it is not the number of „infected“ people that is increasing exponentially, but the number of tests. The number of „infected“ people in relation to the number of tests remains basically constant (oscillating between 10 and 20%), which speaks against a current viral epidemic.

Professor John Oxford of Queen Mary University London, one of the world’s leading virologists and influenza specialists, comes to the following conclusion regarding Covid19: „Personally, I would say the best advice is to spend less time watching TV news which is sensational and not very good. Personally, I view this Covid outbreak as akin to a bad winter influenza epidemic. In this case we have had 8000 deaths this last year in the ‘at risk’ groups viz over 65% people with heart disease etc. I do not feel this current Covid will exceed this number. We are suffering from a media epidemic!“

Do you think that by posting every other second on this that anyone is going to give your opinion a second thought ?

We know what you think I would imagine the vast majority of folks on the forum think your way off the mark but maybe just maybe you will be right.

Can you not wait till this is over and do the analysis like anyone of any intelligence would ?

You seem to be searching all over the web etc for anyone who takes a stance against the norm of expert opinion and using it to justify your cause.

This now seems to have developed into your life's work ?

Time to give the forum a rest

Not just his opinion.

He is posting many opinions from many experts.

And those experts make a lot of sense to me.
