This figure was all over the media. Well, two can play that game, compared to that figure, todays figure, 3,756, has shown a drop of 25%. There will be a hard core, for various reasons, who will NEVER have a vaccination, entirely their choice. We are currently administering an average of 41,676 new vaccinations per day. This is an increase this time last week, when we were doing 35,747 a day. In total, 79.8% of the entire Scottish population has had their first dose, 72.8% have had both doses, and 39.4% have had a third dose. In the past 7 days, 5.3% of Scotland has received a dose! The fatality rate of Delta, in South Africa, was about 3%, the new variant is .5% He also said the NHS treat patients, NOT NUMBERS, and the cases are not translating into hospital admissions. Many people never paid any attention last season, even less will this year. It really doesn't matter, all the evidence points towards the current panic has been the worst yet, and that takes some doing.
